Definitely worth the $5 or $10 bucks. My factory warranty expired on my vacuum sealer and of course almost immediately after it started having problems. Luckily I purchased the warranty. I called in the claim and they asked me the usual questions you would expect and with no hassle at all they issued me a credit for the full amount I paid when new! So I ordered a new sealer (different one) and am happier with the new one so I guess everything happens for a reason.

The “protection plan” is a one time use only within that four years, which should be included in the description. So whether your item needs service or replacement one month after purchase or two years, they will not cover the replacement item and you have to purchase a new plan.

Does this coffee machine hot brew the tea or is it cold brewed?
Answer: It works like a drip coffee maker. It drips (very) hot water through the tea leaves (or bags), then down into the pitcher. The pitcher would contain ice or water, which will dilute the tea down to normal drinking strength. The product works well

Does the pitcher have a top for fridge storage?

My glass pitcher broke can I buy a replacement?
Answer: It is plastic.

I bought this to make iced coffee, since my iced coffee maker started leaking due to cracks in the plastic. Has anyone used this for iced coffee?
Answer: Have not, just for tea, but I can’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work. I love mine, and the glass pitcher is fantastic.
