For the price I paid this canister set is awesome. They are plastic but durable and you can??t really tell that they are plastic. I actually don??t mind it. Makes them easier to wash. I use mine for coffee, creamer and sugar. I ordered these to go with my new coffee pot that is a mint green color. The color match is spot on. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend or purchase again.

I received these today and although they are nice they are about half the size as far as they are advertised. The large one says it holds 57 ounces and it actually holds about 24. Other 2 are also similarly half of advertised storage.

What is the actual color?
Answer: The actual color is a mint green but it??s more of a neutral mint green. It is very similar to what it shows in the picture. If you have seen those Beautiful coffee makers/toasters, etc. by Drew Berrymore, they are about that same color of green. I have one and they match perfectly with it.

Are these absolutely airtight?
Answer: Not completely no. They are alright and the kids do stay on fine and it has some air tightness but no they aren??t completely air tight.
